In Case Of A Zombie Emergency

Following on from last weeks post about a zombie renaissance, [REC]2 is one of those rare gems: a sequel even better than the original (which was incredible to begin with). The original [REC] was an awesome reality television/zombie/infected movie (I hesitate to call them zombie as they are not dead, but I admit to quibbling over semantics).
[REC] 2 starts only minutes after the authorities lost contact with those trapped inside the virus-stricken apartment block, now completely sealed off from the outside world. Chaos reigns outside and a SWAT team, equipped with video cameras, has been sent in to try and control the situation. However, no one is prepared for the evil that awaits them and, once again, they must keep recording… no matter what!
To celebrate the forthcoming release of [REC]2 on DVD, a viral video has been released. The video details exactly what to do in case of a zombie emergency. Those of you familiar with the zombie genre will be more than aware of what steps to take should an invasion of the living dead threaten our lands (stay away from dense population centres, find a self-sustaining community, become expert in the use of weapons. But for anyone else, this is prime material that just might save your life, should you be attacked by a member of the living dead.
[REC]2 was directed by Paco Plaza and Jaume Balaguero, and stars Manuela Velasco, Jonathan Mellor, Ferran Terrazza, Ariel Casas, Oscar Zafra Pablo Rosso and Pep Molina. The DVD is scheduled to be released in the UK on September 20th.
