Converge and Will Haven get Hevy!

Living up to its name in true strength, the first wave of bands have been announced for Hevy festival.

Back for it's fourth year, the Animal Park-cum-music festival has managed to bag a string of exclusive bands for this years edition of the festival, including hardcore veterans Converge, Sacramento noise-mongers Will Haven, metalcore powerhouse The Chariot, Baltimore's hardest Trapped Under Ice, the post-rock stylings of Pianos Become The Teeth and an exclusive UK reunion show from straight-edge mob Verse.

Also on the bill are: Protest The Hero, Deaf Havana, A Wilhelm Scream, Deez Nuts, Set Your Goals, Balance and Composure, Sharks, Last Witness and Crocus.

Hevy still have over 60 bands left to announce, including the main stage headliners, and will see over 80 bands across 4 stages.

Weekend camping tickets are priced at £96 and includes free entry to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park for the weekend. Tickets are on sale now.
