So Download just got pant-wettingly exciting, no?

Following last night's super-duper Download announcement we're frothing at the mouth to know that in addition to the fantastic selection of headliners including Metallica (playing the 'Black Album') and a reunited Black Sabbath, Download 2012 will include Machine Fuckin' Head who are returning to the UK after their crushing Arena tour in December. Inciting violent pits alongside them will be our cover stars Lamb Of God with new material to boot and everyone's favourite thrash law-makers, Anthrax.

You'd be a fool to think it stops there! Backing up those heavyweights are DevilDriver, Trivium, Pensylvanian metalcore troupe August Burns Red and our favourite sonic genius Devin Townsend brings over his mighty Project.
