Finnish death/doom outfit Hooded Menace have gone into the studio to start work on their third full-length album.
The band are recording at their own Horrisound Studio, hoping to be finished by February in readiness for a summer release on Relapse. Hooded Menace have titled the album 'Effigies Of Evil'.
The band's latest release was last year's split with Dutch masters Asphyx on Doomentia Records.
Get prepared for some crushing heaviness from Finland to pound you into the ground this summer.
Drummer Lasse Pyykkö is also one half of crusty metallers Ruinebell, who were recently our band of the day.
