A reunited Labrat and doomsters Sourvein are the latest additions to the Morrowfest show in Nottingham.
The notorious London destroyers are getting back together for a one-off show at the all-dayer in tribute to former Iron Monkey singer Johnny Morrow. Vocalist Rob McAuslan told Terrorizer:
"It's only for Morrowfest - as you know, Johnny Morrow was a friend of ours and we thought it'd be a good chance to say goodbye to the 'Rat."
Labrat's debut album 'Ruining It For Everyone', which featured guest vocals from Akercocke's Jason Mendonca, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Members of Labrat went on to be part of current bands Pure Negative and Dripback.
Also added to the bill are doom destroyers Sourvein.
The line-up for Morrowfest includes Orange Goblin, Sigiriya, Ravens Creed, Crippled Black Phoenix, Nukebirds, The X-Rays, Regimes, Endless Grinning Skulls, Fuk, Break It Up, Charger, Drunk In Hell, Jameson Shots, The Sontaran Experiment, Spinelli, Band With People From Taint and Tusken Coalition.
The festival is set to take place over two stages at Rock City in Nottingham on May 13. The all-dayer will commemorate the tenth anniversary of Johnny Morrow's death and all the proceeds after basic band costs will be donated to Kidney Research.
This is the first time Morrowfest has been held since 2002. The last one was held over two dates in Nottingham and London, raising £9,000.
Tickets are priced £15 and are on sale now if you want to see an amazing line-up and help support a great cause.
