Malefice to record with Premiership footballer

Reading's groove metal destroyers Malefice are to enter the studio to record a song in January... with a Premier League and international goalkeeper collaborating.
Consistently one of the best performers on the circuit, never turning in a substandard exhibition of skill and consumately professional. We could be talking about Malefice, we could be talking about Everton and USA 'keeper (and confirmed heavy metal fan) Marcus Hahnemann. We're actually talking about both.
The two quality acts are taking part in a Jägermeister's 'Ice Cold' Studio Session, where rock acts and icons meet for the first time in a studio and use working together on a song as an "ice-breaker".
Malefice frontman and notorious Chelsea nut Dale Butler has said of the collaboration:
"We have a track 'Outnumbered/Outgunned' on our album 'Awaken The Tides' which is all about that rush of adrenaline you get when you're with your mates at the terraces in the away end on a Saturday afternoon, so this collaboration of football and metal is gonna be something you won't want to miss."
The recording will take place on January 17, with the results streamed on the Jägermeister facebook page on February 1.
