Finnish death/doom masters Swallow The Sun have revealed details of their upcoming fifth studio album.
The band will release the follow up to 2009's sublime 'New Moon' on February 6 via Spinefarm. The band have titled the album 'Emerald Forest And The Blackbird'. The album was recorded at Drumforest Studios in Finland, and has been produced by Mikko Karmila (Children Of Bodom, Amorphis) and mixed by Hiili Hiilesmaa.
The album includes the song 'Cathedral Walls' which features a very special guest appearance from Nightwish singer Anette Olzon. Kai Hahto of Wintersun - who gave Nightwish drummer Jukka Nevalainen lessons for the song 'Slow, Love, Slow' for the recording of new album 'Imaginaerum' - remains behind the kit.
Fans of everything heavy and miserable, set your excitement factor to high.
