Daily round-up: Abigail Williams, The Wretched End (Samoth), Stratovarius

Today's news in brief from the world of Terrorizer, featuring Abigail Williams, The Wretched End (Samoth of Emperor infamy's new band) and Stratovarius.
Both US black metallers Abigail Williams and Norwegian experts in gnarl The Wretched End (the band started by former Emperor guitarist Samoth after the final demise of Zyklon) have entered the studio to begin recording new albums. For AW, this will be their third release, and the follow-up to last year's 'In The Absence Of Light'. For Samoth and co., who also feature former Scum cohort Cosmo, this will be their sophomore outing after they released their scathing debut 'Ominous' last year.
In sad news, power metal heroes Stratovarius have passed company with drummer Jörg Michael after over a decade and a half together. Michael, who was diagnosed with cancer last year, will play a final farewell tour with the Great Strat in the band's home country Finland in late November. The split is said to be for personal reasons, with Michael remaining involved with the band through his booking agency. Obviously all at Terrorizer wish Jörg health and happiness in all his future endeavours, and we're spinning latest album 'Elysium' in the office right now in your honour.
Meanwhile in Terrorizer Towers earlier today, the surrounding population was reported to be running in horror from an ungodly noise that suggested hideous torture was taking place. It turned out to be the office having a sing along to Primordial. Apologies to any who overheard that, and to Primordial as well. We promise it won't happen again (alright, we promise to try).
